Welcome to the website of the Irish MPS Society

The MPS Society is a voluntary support group which represents and supports children and adults suffering from Mucopolysaccharide and related diseases, their families, carers and professionals.

It is a registered charity, managed by the members themselves, and entirely supported by voluntary donations and fundraising.

The aims of the Irish MPS Society are as follows:

  • to act as a support network for those affected by MPS and related diseases
  • to bring about more public awareness of MPS and related diseases
  • to promote and support research into MPS and related diseases

MPS Awareness Day : May 15th

A major event is being held in the Harbour Hotel Galway on the evening of May 15th - with live bands and excellent prizes - to raise awareness of MPS.

The event, hosted by I Radio, starts @ 8pm, with the Elevation Blues Band, Amazing Apples and Jack Dublin & Audio Kiss.

Food & Raffles on the night, with a bit of craic too.

Prizes include a signed Connacht jersey; jewellery; toys; watches; vouchers and many, many more...

Tickets €15 on door; Strictly over 18's.
